Kahukura Hauora - Peer support collective
Kahukura Hauora is a sacred collective of grandmothers—respected pou within whānau—dedicated to healing and breaking cycles of intergenerational trauma. Through whakapapa, tikanga, and wairua, we reclaim our tūpuna wisdom, creating a space where whānau can heal and thrive.
As kahukura, we hold safe spaces, guide with aroha, and uplift our hāpori. Yet, to continue this mahi, we too must prioritise our own hauora through whakaorioriorua, hīkoi and hui a cup of tea and or a kaukau - swim and soak in the pools, sharing positive, uplifting mana enhancing kōrero.
If you seek support or connection, we welcome you with open arms.
